American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on the night shift with 1+ years of MS/Tele experience and IV insertion skills.

The role requires active TN or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, and a Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start. Work on a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center with on-site responsibilities and travel eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• Active TN or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• 1+ years of MS/Tele nursing experience required.
• IV insertion skills required.
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start.

Aufgaben

• Work on a Medical Surgical Combination unit within a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center.
• Serves patients of all ages.
• Shift runs 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• Every other weekend required, with on-call as needed.
• Floating as needed to similar med/surg units.
• Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing and Meditech EHR.
• Provide quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Professional demeanor expected; scrubs of any color accepted, casual wear not permitted.
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays.
• Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered a travel candidate.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment.
