Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Mississippi. This travel position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and an active RN license (MS or Compact).

Responsibilities include direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, with a 19:00–07:00 schedule and a 3/2 split. Local candidates within 50 miles are ineligible, and travel benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MS or Compact) is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience is required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months are required.
• Valid driver's license is required for consideration.
• US Social Security Number is required; Canadian SIN not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit.
• Night shift schedule with a 3/2 split, working 19:00 to 07:00.
• 13-week assignment length.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered.
• Former CHS facility staff employed within the past 2 years as permanent staff are not eligible for this travel position.
