Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg RN for night shift at a critical access hospital in New Mexico. Requires active NM or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years of RN experience. Travel RN with housing and licensure reimbursements available. Local candidates not accepted; first-time travelers welcome.

Responsibilities include caring for medical-surgical patients (1:6), using Evident charting, and working 19:00–07:00 on 3x12-hour nights with no floating to affiliates.

Qualifications

• Active NM or compact RN license required in hand before start (pending license not accepted).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (PALS may be obtained onsite within first week).
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of an 18-bed critical access hospital.
• Patient ratio of 1:6.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00).
• Uses Evident charting system.
• No floating to affiliate hospitals required.
• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients including respiratory, cardiac, and wound care support.

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required in hand before start (pending license not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (PALS may be obtained onsite within first week)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills in respiratory care, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and wound care preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of an 18-bed critical access hospital

• No parking costs at this facility
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius to qualify for travel rate

• Previous travelers may return only after a 6+ month gap since their last assignment
• Zero tolerance policy for marijuana use, including THC testing
