Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift position in Alabama. Requires at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license. BLS is required and certifications must not expire within 30 days of start. No gaps of 90+ days in the past year.

The role entails a 13-week assignment with night hours, and travel nurses outside a 50-mile radius are preferred. RTO must be under 1 week; prior CHS staff within 2 years are ineligible.

Qualifications

• Active AL or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this role.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
