Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a day shift assignment in Tulsa, OK. This travel-ready role requires prior travel nursing experience and active OK (or compact) RN licensure, plus critical certifications for OB care.

The successful candidate will work 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, float to postpartum as needed, and complete 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week cycle. Epic charting is used for documentation.

Qualifications

• RN license in OK or compact must be in hand at time of consideration.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and NRP.
• 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Float to postpartum unit as needed.
• 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week period.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Provide nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, with float coverage to postpartum as needed.
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration.
• Former permanent staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as a traveler.
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation.
