American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery, night shift, at a Baby Friendly facility in South Carolina. The role requires AWHONN Intermediate certification, SC or Compact license, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Epic EMR experience.

This travel position offers housing and licensure reimbursement, competitive pay, and benefits. Candidates with 2 years of L&D experience are preferred, with 1+ years recent unit experience considered; orientation and pre-assignment testing apply.

Qualifikationen

• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with arrhythmia skills preferred.

Aufgaben

• Work in a Labor and Delivery unit within an LDRP model with nursery responsibilities at a Baby Friendly facility.
• Cross-trained responsibilities include labor and delivery, circulator role, acute care nursery, and OB triage.
• Unit also cares for GYN surgery patients.
• RNs perform their own hearing screenings.
• Patient ratios: 1:1 with labor patients, 1:2 with cytotec inductions, 1:1 with mag patients, 1:3 with couplet care, and 1:1 if baby is in the sick nursery.
• Uses Omnicell medication system.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30.
• Every other weekend coverage required.
• Call and float requirements apply.
• Floating to other qualified units or campuses based on census needs.
• Provide direct patient care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases with nursery responsibilities.
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on years of experience.
• Orientation occurs every Monday with an annual compliance requirement.
• Pre-assignment testing and required modules must be completed within 48 hours of login credentials.
• Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from any facility within the health system to be eligible.
