American Traveler, a rural-hospital assignment provider, seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 10-bed unit with 5 L&D and 5 postpartum rooms. Night shifts are 3x12 hours (19:00–07:00) with weekend coverage as scheduled. Epic charting is used; high-quality labor, delivery, and newborn care is expected.

Required: CO license, NRP/ACLS/BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and 2+ years L&D experience including C-section circulator duties. Rural and travel experience is valued.

Competenze

• Active CO or compact RN license.
• Current certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate (must be in hand or proof of enrollment).
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required.
• Circulator experience for C-sections required.
• Rural healthcare experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.
• Clinical leadership experience and mentoring skills preferred.
• Strong teaching attitude and team player mentality required.

Mansioni

• 10-bed unit with 5 Labor & Delivery and 5 Postpartum rooms, averaging fewer than 100 births per month.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00-07:00.
• Minimum 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs between like units.
• No on-call requirements.
• Uses Epic charting system.
• Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care including antepartum monitoring, neonatal care, and postpartum recovery.
• Skilled in fetal monitoring, medication administration, and pain management techniques.
• Experience assisting with high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, and C-section recovery.
• Completion of facility-specific modules within first week of assignment.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract with blackout periods.
• UCHealth employees must disclose prior employment history for eligibility review.
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted.

• Various days of the week with a minimum of 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs between like units
• No on-call requirements

• Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care including antepartum monitoring, neonatal care in the delivery room, and postpartum recovery
• Skilled in fetal monitoring, medication administration (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, antihypertensives), and pain management techniques
• Experience assisting with high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, and C-section recovery
• Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during peak census times
• Previous UCHealth employees must disclose prior employment history for eligibility review
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted
