Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift at our Women's and Children's Center in Hillsboro, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of LDRP experience and hold current BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.

Responsibilities include triage, C-section circulation, antepartum and postpartum care, and coverage for weekends on a 3x12 or 4x12 schedule. Epic charting is required, and local OR licensure is needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (OR license required for submission).
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience.
• Current BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.

• Care for low to moderate risk laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients and their newborns.
• Perform triage and medical screening exams in the unit's two triage rooms.
• Circulate and recover C-sections from the OR suite and private rooms.
• Night shift schedule 1900–0730 on a 3x12 or 4x12 basis.
• Weekend requirement and hospital-wide floating within the Women's and Children's Center.
• Uses Epic charting system and provides comprehensive care across labor, antepartum, and postpartum stages.

American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift LDRP position requiring 2+ years of LDRP experience and current AWHONN, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Requirements

• Active RN license (OR license required for submission)
• Pending license applications accepted if submitted and received by the licensing board
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (Stable certification preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
• Skilled in labor and delivery management, C-section circulation, antepartum care, and obstetrical triage
• Ability to initiate NRP for low-moderate risk deliveries, including CPAP and PPV until additional help arrives
• Experience with IV starts, newborn transitions, and triage
• Epic charting experience required
• Mentor/preceptor experience preferred
• Ability to float to Postpartum/NICU preferred

• Perform triage and medical screening exams in the unit's two triage rooms
• Circulate and recover C-sections from the OR suite and private rooms
• Night shift schedule (1900-0730) on a 3x12 or 4x12 basis
• Weekend requirement
• Floating required within the hospital, with no floating to sister hospitals
• No call requirements
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide comprehensive care across labor, antepartum, and postpartum stages, including newborn transition support
• Level III trauma center and teaching hospital setting
• Scrubs provided for OR; no prints permitted for unit scrubs
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction
• Maximum RTO of 1-2 weeks, must be submitted upfront
• Returning staff must have a gap of 6+ months since their last assignment to be eligible
