American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a high-risk OB unit in Texas. The position requires at least 2 years of high-risk L&D experience and intermediate AWHONN certification, plus TX license and BLS/NRP.

The role involves circulating in cesarean cases, 3x12-hour night shifts, and adherence to strict gowning and safety policies. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Candidates outside a 50-mile radius are preferred; local candidates will not be considered.

Formación

• Active TX or compact RN license is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification (or NCCEFM) required.
• Current NRP certification (Advanced 9th Edition) required.
• At least 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience required.
• Experience circulating in c-sections and recovering high acuity patients required.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a 24-bed high-risk obstetrical labor and delivery unit within a Women's Hospital.
• Patient ratios approximately 2:1 and 3:1, including OBED triage.
• Procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, c-sections, D&C, and post-delivery recovery care.
• Uses GE fetal monitors
• Documentation via Meditech and CPN
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a per week
• Weekend work required on a rotating basis
• Floating required as needed, including to the antepartum unit within Women's Services
• Provide bedside care in a high-risk obstetrical setting including circulating in c-sections and recovering high acuity patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Scrub color per unit policy; clean, natural nails without artificial enhancements; neat and conservative hair and grooming standards
• Body art should be covered when feasible; visible piercings other than ears are not permitted
• Facility attendance policy applies
