American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring AWHONN/NRP certification and a Colorado or compact RN license.

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a 13-week assignment, with travel housing and licensure reimbursements. Preference given to candidates with Mom/Baby, Peds, or NICU experience and no employment gaps in the past year.

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year current hospital L&D experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (9th Edition), and AWHONN (Intermediate/Advanced) or EFM/NCCEFM.
• Mom/Baby, Peds, and/or NICU experience preferred.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO).

Responsabilités

• Labor & Delivery unit with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 L&D ORs.
• Night shift staffing matrix of 8-10: typically 1 charge RN, 7-9 RNs, and 1 CST.
• Patient ratios typically 2:1, with 1:1 for complicated patients (not guaranteed).
• Uses FHR monitors (Novii and GE) and fetal scalp electrodes (FSE).
• EMR systems used include CPN and Meditech.
• Scheduled night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week assignment.
• Provide nursing care for labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation through the nursing process.
• Direct and coordinate care for vaginal and c-section deliveries.
• Candidates should be flexible, friendly, and dependable.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not considered.
