Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift. High‑risk OB and teaching hospital experience preferred.

Position requires active RN license (LA or Compact), at least 2 years L&D, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM). Travel rate applies for non-local candidates; housing and per diem provided where eligible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (LA or Compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Teaching hospital experience required.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM.

Responsibilities

• High-risk OB Labor and Delivery unit.
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Facility averages 200-300 births per month.
• Call required as needed.
• Weekend shifts required as needed.
• Floating required to Mother/Baby unit.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Returning employees must be separated from any LCMC facility for at least 1 year to be eligible for travel positions.
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius to qualify for travel rate.
