Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery/Mother Baby in Maryland. Candidate must hold a compact or West Virginia RN license and NRP certification, with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Travel assignments include 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/week, and a generous housing allowance. Local candidates are not considered; interview directly with the unit manager. Strong EPIC EMR experience and current BLS/NRP/STABLE certifications are required; a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact or West Virginia) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), NRP, and STABLE.
• BSN not required for this position.
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Acute care Level 1 Labor & Delivery/Mother Baby unit.
• Cares for women and children until stable to remain or be transferred.
• Average of 20 deliveries per month.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled.
• 36 hours per week guaranteed.
• Provide labor and delivery and mother-baby nursing care within an acute care setting.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Local candidates will not be considered for this position.
• Travelers must take a 2-year break before returning to any WVU Medicine facility.
• Former permanent staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers.
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one year without taking a 2-year break.
• All candidates interview directly with the unit manager.
