Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery assignment in West Virginia. The position requires an active WV or compact RN license and AHA certifications. Start date 01/06/2026 for 13 weeks, with 12-hour night shifts and a 48-hour work week in a hospital L&D unit.

Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, deliveries support, and adherence to patient ratios. On-call may be required; navy blue scrubs must be worn. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active WV or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• AHA-approved certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN required.
• Annual flu vaccine required during flu season with no declinations accepted.
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• First time travelers are accepted.
• Former CAMC permanent staff must have a 2-year separation before consideration for traveler roles.
