Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in South Carolina. The candidate must hold a SC or compact RN license and have at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.

The role features a day shift (07:00–19:30) with three 12-hour shifts per week and no on-call requirements. Benefits include housing support, travel/liscensure reimbursements, and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA only).
• Current NRP certification (AHA only).
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital environment.
• Day shift schedule, 07:00-19:30.
• Scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week.
• No call requirements.
• Float to similar units as needed.
• Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data.
• Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice.
• Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors.
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
• Contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring novice staff.
• Participate in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practice efforts.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional growth through goal setting and continuing education
