Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an all-in-one Labor & Delivery unit in New Hampshire, covering delivery, mother/baby, postpartum, and newborn care.

The ideal candidate holds an active NH or compact license with BLS and NRP, plus 2+ years in L&D and Epic EMR experience. The role operates day shifts, 36 hours weekly, with weekend rotations and housing/travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NH or compact RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Minimum 2 years Labor and Delivery experience.
• Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience.
• Epic EMR experience.
• AWHONN certification within past 3 years preferred.
• Candidates must have their own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• All-in-one L&D unit providing care across delivery, mother/baby, postpartum, nursery, and newborn resuscitation.
• Midwife-led team approach emphasizing low-intervention, natural birth support.
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
• Block scheduling and 48-hour weeks are not available for this position.
• Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood, considering age-related development.
• Collaborate with regional referral center and academic medical center for specialty care.
• Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving and New Year’s blocks.
• RTO requests must be submitted and verified prior to interview; max 5 days.
• Local candidates within 50 miles not eligible; not suitable for concurrent assignments.

• RTO requests must be submitted and verified prior to interview; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Candidates seeking to work this assignment alongside another permanent placement or travel assignment will not be considered
