Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery assignment in Missouri with LDRP experience and required certifications.

You will work in the Birthing Center/LDRP unit with a night shift (3x12), patient ratio 1:5, using EPIC EMR, and will have weekend and holiday coverage requirements. Local candidates within 50 miles may have a reduced bill rate.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery/LDRP experience required.
• Labor and Birth experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Birthing Center/LDRP unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12.
• Patient ratio of 1:5.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Every other weekend required.
• Rotating holiday coverage required.
• Call requirements as required by the facility.
• Must float as needed, non-negotiable.
• Deliver patient-focused, compassionate care as part of a collaborative birthing center team.

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery/LDRP experience required
• Labor and Birth experience required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required November 1 through April 1

Responsibilities

• Work in the Birthing Center/LDRP unit of a hospital setting

• Black scrubs required
• Must be a positive, flexible team player
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted, though bill rate is reduced for those residing within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are restricted to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius
