Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for Labor & Delivery with at least 2 years of experience and a current CO (or Compact) RN license. Must hold BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate certs; C-EFM preferred.

Responsibilities include rotating through a 15-bed Labor/Delivery unit, day shifts (3x12), occasional weekends, and on-call duties every 6 weeks. EPIC charting used; scrubs provided; travel-friendly terms offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate.
• C-EFM certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Skills in Labor & Delivery, Level I Nursery, and Mother/Baby settings.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor and Delivery/Birth Center unit with 15 staffed beds.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts.
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs.
• On-call requirement of 1 day every 6 weeks.
• Open to floating across the North region within the Women & Infant service line.
• Uses EPIC charting system.
• Scrubs provided.
• Provide nursing care within a Labor and Delivery/Birth Center setting.
• Facility-specific modules must be completed within the first week of assignment, averaging 4 hours.
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met.
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 75 miles of facility.
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during high-census times.
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or affiliates must disclose prior employment for eligibility review.
• Return travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking.
