Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery role in Oklahoma. A minimum of 2 years L&D experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/NRP with AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification are required.

The nurse will work in a hospital L&D unit, monitor fetal status with Cerner EMR and Fetalink, and provide full-scope labor and delivery care. Night shifts, travel housing, and licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (States may be compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications (AHA)
• AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• 2 years hospital experience in the L&D specialty
• Cerner EMR experience required
• US SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Care for females of childbearing age and laboring patients
• Handle admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op care, and deliveries
• Monitor fetal status using fetal monitors and EMR systems
• Night shift: three 12-hour shifts per week
• Provide comprehensive nursing care across the full scope of L&D services
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Obtain two references from managers or supervisors within the last 12 months

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) in hand, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (AHA only)
• AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• 2 years of hospital experience in the specialty required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• US SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage), and triage cases
• Unit activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op care, and vaginal and C-section deliveries
• Uses fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation systems
• Night shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Provide comprehensive nursing care across the full scope of Labor and Delivery services
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
