Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to ensure prompt responses to service requests at customer sites within the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, as well as related equipment, while maintaining accurate inventory and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, after-hours availability when needed, and timely communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field (Preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required).
• CompTIA A+/Network+ and other industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document full details.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team professionally.
• Travel as needed, typically within 150 miles, with limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance for POS hardware and related equipment.
• Configure software and hardware, perform installs and upgrades as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
