Victaulic in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Field Tool Technician to provide on-site support, maintenance, and consulting at customer facilities across Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. You’ll apply your technical knowledge, communicate clearly, and help maximize tool productivity while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years in field service or equipment maintenance, mechanical aptitude, ability to read manuals and schematics, and comfortable with extensive travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service or equipment maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and high organizational skills.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, shop math, and precision instruments.
• Capable of performing all field service functions including equipment setup, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Train customer personnel on proper tool operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
• Independently coordinate and schedule customer visits and maintain relationships with customers.
• Provide onsite consulting to maximize tool productivity and shop setup.
• Perform on-site tool support and maintenance at customer facilities.
• Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on customer tools to minimize downtime.
• Respond to service calls with expert diagnosis and repair solutions at customer sites.
• Calibrate, test, and commission newly installed tools and equipment.
