Victaulic is seeking a Field Tool Technician to join our Southwest team in the Application Engineering organization. This role focuses on on-site tool support, maintenance, and consulting at customer facilities across the Southwest territory, with up to 80% travel.

You will apply your technical knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills to support tool operation, calibration, and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.

Formación

• 3+ years of field service or equipment maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and high organizational skills.
• Reading technical manuals, schematics, shop math and precision instruments.
• Capability to perform field service functions including setup, maintenance and repair.
• Fully capable of working independently at customer sites and delivering excellent service.

Responsabilidades

• Train customer personnel on proper tool operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate and schedule customer visits while maintaining relationships with customers.
• Provide on-site consulting on tool operation and shop setup to maximize productivity.
• Perform on-site calibration, testing, and commissioning of tools and equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Prepare detailed service reports and recommendations for customers.
