Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Field Tool Technician – Southwest to join our Application Engineering team. You will apply technical knowledge to provide on-site tool support, maintenance and consulting services at customer facilities across the Southwest, with travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities include training customers, diagnosing tool issues, calibrations and preventative maintenance, along with maintaining service records and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service or equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, shop math, and precision instruments.
• Comfort with extensive travel up to 80% and working at customer sites.
• Capability to lift within OSHA limits and work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Train customer personnel on tool operation, maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinate and schedule customer visits and maintain relationships with customers.
• Provide on-site tool support, maintenance, and consulting at customer facilities.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on customer tools and equipment.
• Conduct on-site calibration, testing and commissioning of newly installed tools.
• Prepare detailed service reports and recommendations for customers.
