Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Field Tool Technician to join the Application Engineering team in the Southwest, covering the Pacific Northwest. The role involves on-site tool support, maintenance, and consulting at customer facilities across Seattle, WA and Portland, OR, with up to 80% travel to sites.

You will train customers, perform calibrations, and repair or replace tools as needed. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of field service experience, mechanical aptitude, and strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service or equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, shop math, and use precision instruments.
• Capacity to perform field service functions including setup, maintenance and repair.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; able to work independently at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Train customer personnel on tool operation, maintenance and safety protocols.
• Coordinate and schedule customer visits; maintain relationships with customers.
• Provide on-site tool support, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform calibration, testing, and commissioning of newly installed tools.
• Conduct warranty evaluations/repairs and maintain service records.
