Job summary

Red River is seeking a Field Installation Engineer in Nashville to plan, install, configure, calibrate, and validate network and infrastructure solutions across customer and internal environments. Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, military training, or equivalent IT/Networking discipline.
• 3+ years installing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting network and infrastructure tech.
• Ability to read diagrams and installation documentation; diagnose issues and recommend fixes.
• Strong organization, communication, and ability to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, upgrade, and validate network and infrastructure equipment.
• Analyze requirements and develop installation plans and procedures.
• Conduct site surveys and determine tools, equipment, and personnel.
• Assess site conditions and determine installation approaches.
• Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues; identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Conduct wireless site surveys and RF assessments to meet specs.
• Perform testing and post-installation inspections before turnover.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to review scope and schedules.
• Prepare technical reports and as-built records documenting configurations.
• Provide customers with technical guidance and training on operation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
