Job summary

Red River is seeking a Field Installation Engineer to plan, install, configure, calibrate, validate and troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure solutions across customer and internal environments.

The role combines hands-on technical work with engineering analysis to ensure successful implementation in line with project specs, timelines and quality standards. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of network concepts and protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and specs.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, upgrade and validate network equipment.
• Analyze requirements and develop installation plans and procedures.
• Perform site surveys and readiness assessments for installations.
• Assess risks and choose installation approaches per project needs.
• Troubleshoot network, wireless and infrastructure issues and implement fixes.
• Conduct wireless RF surveys and evaluate network performance.
• Test equipment and validate installations before turnover.
• Collaborate with project managers and customers to review scope and plans.
• Prepare installation docs, logs, and as-built records.
• Provide customers with guidance and training on operation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and quality standards.
