Job summary

Red River is seeking a Field Installation Engineer to plan, install, configure, calibrate, validate, and troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure solutions across customer and internal environments. The role combines hands-on engineering with analysis to ensure successful implementation aligned with project requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT, Networking, Telecommunications or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience installing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting network and infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams, floor plans, technical specifications, and implementation documentation.
• Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel independently to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, upgrade, and validate network and infrastructure equipment.
• Analyze installation requirements and develop installation plans and procedures.
• Conduct site surveys and evaluate infrastructure readiness.
• Assess site conditions and determine installation approaches.
• Troubleshoot network, wireless, connectivity issues and optimize performance.
• Conduct wireless site surveys and RF environment evaluations.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, work orders, and installation documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review scope, plans, and schedules.
• Provide customers with technical guidance and training on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and quality standards.
