Job summary

Red River is seeking a Field Installation Engineer to lead planning, installation, configuration, and validation of network infrastructure across customer environments. You will perform site surveys, assess readiness, and develop detailed installation plans to ensure successful deployment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, RF site surveys, and post-installation validation, while coordinating with project managers and customers to manage scope, schedules, and risks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, military training, or equivalent experience in IT, Networking, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience installing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting network and infrastructure technologies with routing, switching, wireless, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams, floor plans, technical specs, and implementation docs; analyze problems and recommend solutions.
• Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, upgrade, and validate network and infrastructure equipment across customer and internal environments.
• Analyze installation requirements and develop plans to support successful implementation.
• Conduct site surveys and evaluate readiness to determine tools, equipment, and personnel needs.
• Troubleshoot network, wireless, connectivity, and infrastructure issues; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, installation documentation, inspection logs, and as-built records.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to review scope, design, schedules, and risk.
