Job summary

Red River is seeking a Field Installation Engineer to plan, install, configure, calibrate, validate, and troubleshoot network and infrastructure solutions across customer and internal environments.

The role combines hands-on engineering with analysis to ensure successful implementation of complex technology in accordance with project requirements and quality standards. Travel to customer sites is required as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification, or equivalent experience in IT/Networking.
• 3+ years of experience installing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting network and infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams and implementation docs; analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills with ability to explain technical concepts.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, upgrade, and validate network and infrastructure equipment.
• Analyze installation requirements and develop installation plans and procedures.
• Conduct site surveys to determine tools, equipment, and personnel needed.
• Troubleshoot network, wireless, and infrastructure issues and optimize performance.
• Conduct wireless site surveys and RF environment assessments for compliance.
• Prepare and maintain installation documentation, reports, and validation results.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align scope, design, and schedules.
