Job summary

Red River is seeking a Field Installation Engineer in Utah to lead planning, installation, configuration, and validation of network and infrastructure solutions. You will work across customer and internal environments, ensuring quality standards and project success.

This role blends hands-on engineering with analytical assessment and may involve international oversight as needed. You will install and validate devices, interpret diagrams, perform site surveys, and troubleshoot complex systems

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in IT, networking, electronics, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years installing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting network and infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams, blueprints, diagrams, and implementation documentation; analyze problems and propose effective solutions.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
• Strong organizational skills and customer communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, upgrade, and validate network and infrastructure equipment.
• Analyze installation requirements and develop installation plans and procedures.
• Conduct site surveys and determine tools, equipment, and personnel for installation.
• Assess site conditions and determine installation approaches per project requirements.
• Troubleshoot network, wireless, and infrastructure issues; identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Conduct wireless site surveys and RF environment assessments to ensure compliance with specs.
• Perform equipment testing and post-installation inspections for readiness.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to review scope, schedule, and plans.
