Job summary

Red River is seeking a Field Installation Engineer to plan, install, configure, calibrate, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize network and infrastructure solutions across customer and internal environments.

This role combines hands-on technical execution with engineering analysis to ensure successful implementation of complex technology solutions in accordance with project requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT, networking or related field.
• 3+ years installing or supporting network infra with routing, switching, wireless, IP addressing.
• Ability to read network diagrams and implement solutions.
• Valid driver's license and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, and validate network and infrastructure equipment.
• Analyze requirements and develop installation plans.
• Conduct site surveys and pre-install inspections.
• Assess risks and determine installation approaches.
• Troubleshoot network and wireless issues and optimize performance.
• Perform RF site surveys and ensure compliance with standards.
• Document configurations, variances, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers for successful turnover.
