Job summary

Truno is seeking a Field Installation Technician to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our infrastructure. The role requires frequent travel to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair machines and other technical equipment.

You will work with a skilled engineering team to install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and system management tools. A flexible schedule and weekly travel are required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to travel and work on-site
• Ability to install, configure, test, and maintain systems
• Experience with retail, grocery, or foodservice environments is a plus
• POS and networking experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform system staging, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Assess site conditions and develop installation plans with on-site users
• Test equipment connections and verify functionality
• Coordinate with vendors and IT staff for issue resolution
• Document actions and maintain logs
• Travel to home office for training and product sessions
• Maintain security, backups, and redundancy strategies
• Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and early mornings
