Job summary

TRUNO Field Installation Technician role supports building, maintaining, and troubleshooting our expanding infrastructure. You will install, configure, test, and maintain field systems, while coordinating with engineering and on-site users to determine requirements.

Expect extensive travel to customer sites and training locations, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience or training is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or foodservice is preferred.
• POS and networking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform staging activities, including system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze site conditions and consult with on-site users to develop installation plans.
• Test and validate equipment connections and functionality.
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Document service and installation actions with reports and logs.
• Travel to home office sites for training and product updates.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and early mornings.
