Job summary

Mettler-Toledo, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused technical support professional for the Pharma and Biotechnology markets in New England.

You will provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, assist with installations, and lead on-site trainings and demonstrations. As a technical SME, you will collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Channel Partners to ensure successful implementations and ongoing satisfaction.

Qualifications

5+ years in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry.
Direct Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology experience in the New England region.
Experience in technical/application support (pre- and post-sales).
Familiarity with liquid analytical products and applications.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel extensively, including ~70% overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical and application support to customers, RSMs, BDMs and Channel Partners.
Support equipment installation, startup, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution for successful implementation and satisfaction.
Conduct onsite customer training, technical seminars and demonstrations related to equipment and solutions.
Serve as technical SME during customer visits, sales meetings, site walks and discussions; accompany sales staff on visits for guidance.
Provide technical expertise during sales processes, assessing requirements and recommending applications.
Assist sales teams and channel partners with opportunities, projects, and customer requirements; troubleshoot issues onsite and remotely.
Develop and maintain knowledge of liquid analytical products in Pharma/Biotech industries.
Build expertise in key applications and provide practical technical recommendations to customers.
Support aftermarket activities including startup, customer support, training, and application assistance.
Collaborate with internal sales teams, customers, and channel partners to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support; travel across New England.
