Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Services License Manager to ensure compliance with state and local licensing and permitting requirements across a geographic market including the Sacramento Valley and San Francisco Bay Area.

You will lead licensing, audits, and relations with public agencies, driving improvements and managing service provider compliance. This role requires significant travel and a strong background in regulatory affairs.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be able to pass exams to hold specified trade licenses (e.g., General Contractor, Electrician, HVAC).
• Experience building relationships with state/local regulatory agencies and trade organizations.
• Strong data analysis to identify compliance risks and improvements.
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements for field compliance.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure THD At Home Services compliance with state/local licensing, permitting, and inspections.
• Oversee field compliance activities including jobsite quality audits and supervision.
• Maintain and renew required trade licenses; complete continuing education requirements.
• Resolve customer complaints related to THD Services installations and authorize service adjustments up to $1,000.
• Meet with state/local officials and trade groups to discuss compliance issues.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis and propose process improvements to Service Compliance.
