Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Director, Services Licensing to lead licensing, permitting, regulatory compliance, and field licensing strategy across the enterprise. You will establish vision, operating model, and governance to meet federal, state, and local requirements while enabling growth, service provider performance, and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in licensing, compliance, operations, regulatory affairs, or related functions.
• 5+ years leading managers and large-scale operational teams.
• Experience interpreting and applying regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Significant leadership experience in compliance, risk management, field operations, or regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of multi-state regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own licensing & certification programs across Home Services; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead audit programs, risk assessments, and compliance scorecard initiatives.
• Oversee service provider licensing validation, inspections, and provider reviews.
• Develop and execute enterprise licensing strategy with governance structures and metrics.
• Lead managers and associates, set goals, and foster a culture of accountability and learning.
