Job summary

Harpak-ULMA Packaging is hiring a Field Service Technician in Las Vegas, NV. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing packaging machinery, especially multi-head weighers, with on-site and remote support.

We require strong mechanical/electrical skills, PLC knowledge, and a willingness to travel 70–85% with a valid driver's license. Excellent customer service and ability to document service calls are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a technical field with at least 3 years troubleshooting mechanical and electrical machine issues.
• Prior experience with multi-head weighers is essential.
• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Travel 70–85% of the time; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for travel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & Repair: use mechanical and electrical expertise to fix packaging machines, on-site and remote support.
• Installation: install various packaging equipment including tray formers, tray sealers, fillers, dosers, form/fill/seal machines.
• Customer Support: provide exceptional service, follow up on inquiries, and offer technical phone support.
• Team Collaboration: work with other techs, engineers, and service managers to improve delivery.
• Training & Documentation: participate in training and document service calls and solutions, using tools for reporting.
