Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an Associate Field Service Technician to maintain retail store technologies and peripherals across multiple environments. The role includes product installation, basic diagnostics and repair of Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA solutions, with travel and on-site customer interaction.

The position requires strong problem solving, customer service, and the ability to work independently after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with electronics experience.
• Must be able to travel 100% domestically/air travel for installations or service projects.
• Knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure, flat panel TVs/monitors, POS equipment and related retail devices.
• Mechanical aptitude with competency in electricity/electronics and testing equipment use.
• Strong written and oral communication; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory performing basic repairs and services on products.
• May travel within territory or nationally for installations or changes to POS equipment.
• Communicates status and customer satisfaction with management and stakeholders.
• Plans, prioritizes and schedules work to meet service level objectives; may require overtime/weekends.
• Documents installation activities per Toshiba standards using approved systems/reports.
• Maintains trunk stock to support customers.
