Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. You will work on AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and coupled components, traveling as needed to customer sites to provide expert service.

You will use advanced testing tools and collaborate with a skilled team to restore equipment performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, or similar rotating industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and be willing to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends for on-call.
• Experience with PdMA testing or Level I Vibration Analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and removal of motors and coupled equipment; perform laser alignments.
• Use precision tools to diagnose wear and verify tolerances.
• Overhaul gearboxes and bearings with specialized tooling.
• Conduct diagnostic tests with Megger, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, and DLRO.
• Maintain safety and collaborate with team to hit project goals.
