Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of rotating equipment. You will perform laser alignments, inspect components with precision tools, and replace bearings and gearboxes while ensuring OEM specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, or similar rotating industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, continuous-improvement environment.
• Excellent customer-facing communication.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable record; willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends for on-call field service.
• Experience with PdMA testing or Level I Vibration Analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment.
• Perform laser alignments and set critical air gaps and mechanical seals to OEM specs.
• Inspect with precision measuring tools to verify tolerances and equipment integrity.
• Replace bearings, gearboxes, and torque-critical components using specialized tooling.
• Conduct diagnostic tests with portable equipment to ensure system reliability.
• Maintain safety standards while collaborating with the team.
