Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of rotating equipment. You will install and remove motors, perform laser alignments, and verify OEM specifications, ensuring high-quality service.

Requirements include 2+ years with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and pumps, plus strong communication with customers. Flexibility for on-call shifts and overtime is expected. Safety is paramount in all duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on with rotating equipment (AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps)
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing communication
• Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed
• PdMA testing or vibration analysis experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of rotating equipment
• Install/remove AC/DC motors and coupled equipment; perform laser alignments
• Take precision measurements to verify tolerances and OEM specs
• Conduct safety-conscious maintenance and testing with portable equipment
