Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotating equipment while delivering top-notch service to customers. This role involves travel and on-site diagnostics, with autonomy to manage complex tasks.

You will lead precision assembly, alignment, and overhauls of AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and related components, using laser alignment and precision tools. A strong customer-facing mindset and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps or similar rotating industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem‑solving and customer‑facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and removal of AC/DC motors and coupled equipment with laser alignment.
• Use precision tools to diagnose wear and verify tolerances.
• Perform overhauls replacing bearings, gearboxes and torque components to OEM specs.
• Conduct on-site diagnostics and tests using portable equipment.
• Maintain safety standards while working independently or in a team.
