Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Assembler to join our National Field Service team. You will travel across the United States to assemble heavy mining equipment on-site, often for up to 6 weeks at a time, with substantial overtime opportunities.

The role focuses on assembling rope shovels and electric drive truck assemblies, performing field maintenance, and welding in diverse environments. Candidates should have hands-on mechanical experience, welding proficiency (5G preferred), and AWS D1.1

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience in heavy industrial settings.
• Welding is a primary required skill; 5G welding preferred.
• AWS D1.1 welding certification required; rigging training beneficial.
