Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Assembler to join our National Field Service team. The role requires traveling across the United States to assemble heavy mining equipment on-site, often 6 weeks on the road with substantial overtime opportunities.

Duties include field mechanical maintenance, welding, and on-site troubleshooting. Ideal candidates have strong hands-on mechanical skills, welding experience (5G preferred), and the ability to work in demanding field environments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mechanical experience in field environments.
• Welding experience, including field welding.
• Experience with heavy mining equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field mechanical maintenance and repairs on mining equipment.
• Field welding and fabrication in customer locations.
• Travel across the U.S. to provide on-site support and service.
• Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform field machining as required.
