Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Assembler to travel across the United States, assembling heavy mining equipment on customer sites. You’ll be on the road for up to six weeks at a time with substantial overtime opportunities, performing field maintenance, welding, and machining to keep equipment in peak condition.

The role favors candidates with heavy industrial experience, welding skills (AWS D1.1 with FCAW test), and rigging training; MSHA training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mechanical experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Welding experience with FCAW welding capability is highly desirable.
• 5G welding experience preferred.
• AWS D1.1 with FCAW welding test certification required or preferred.
