Job summary

Komatsu is seeking an experienced Field Assembler to join our National Field Service team. You will travel across the United States to assemble heavy mining equipment on site, including rope shovels and electric drive truck assemblies, with extensive overtime opportunities and long road assignments.

The role emphasizes field welding, maintenance, and mechanical assembly while adhering to safety and quality standards across multiple western states and other locations.

Qualifications

• Must be on the road for 6 weeks at a time, 13–14 hour days.
• AWS D1.1 certification with FCAW welding test completed.
• MSHA training certification preferred for safety compliance.
• Rigging training completed for safe lifting and rigging activities.
