Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a short-term acute care facility in Oregon City. The role requires 1+ year CT experience, ARRT CT/R certification, and Epic EMR proficiency.

You will cover night shifts (4x10s) with weekend coverage and a fixed block schedule, using GE/Philips/Siemens/Toshiba machines with PACS and Epic charting. The assignment includes housing support, travel reimbursement, and non-taxed per diem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required.
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Compact state license required if applicable.
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs.
• Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge required.
• Age-specific competency across neonate to older adult.
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required.

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care facility with 109 staff beds.
• Adult acute care and outpatient work settings.
• Night shift, 4x10 hours, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Weekend shifts required Saturday and Sunday 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Block schedule required.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• No floating between units and no on-call required.
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment with PACS.
• Epic charting system required.
• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging with and without contrast.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront, as post-offer requests may not be granted.
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities.
• Scrubs of any color accepted, with specific scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units.
• Candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50 mile radius of the facility.
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3 month waiting period, provided they live outside a 50 mile radius.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position.
