American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift assignment. The role requires ARRT-CT certification, BLS, and a fluoroscopy permit.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of community hospital experience and Epic EMR proficiency. The position may involve floating between facilities and holiday coverage, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluoroscopy permit in hand at submission.
• Compact state license in hand at submission; license required if applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
• Community hospital experience required.
• Proficiency with contrast media administration/prep.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care and outpatient settings, including ED coverage.
• Performs abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast.
• Performs chest, head, and neck CT with and without contrast.
• Performs spine and musculoskeletal imaging studies.
• Special procedures include aspirations, biopsies, vascular CTA, CT arthrography, drainage.
• Experience with brain perfusion, colonography, and myelography is a plus.
• Uses PACS and Philips equipment.
• Performs multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) for image post-processing.
• May float between sister facilities within the region.
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during contract period.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and at least 1 year of community hospital experience for a day shift assignment.

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit required in hand at time of submission
• Compact state license required in hand at time of submission; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Proficiency with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Peripheral IV starting skills preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care and outpatient settings, including Emergency Department coverage
• Performs abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast
• Performs chest, head, and neck CT with and without contrast
• Performs spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
• Special procedures include aspirations, biopsies, vascular CTA, CT arthrography, and drainage
• Preferred experience with brain perfusion, colonography, and myelography
• Uses PACS and Philips equipment
• Performs multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) for image post-processing
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• May be expected to float between sister facilities within the region
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at this health system, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers may not be considered for this assignment
