Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services across patient populations with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) CT certification.

Shifts are 4x10 hour days (Fri-Mon), 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, performing scans with and without contrast across abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, chest, and more. Familiarity with Philips/Toshiba CT and Epic is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience required.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• State license required if applicable.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Travel experience strongly preferred unless candidate has very strong work history.
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration.
• Venipuncture skills preferred.
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE.
• Knowledge of image display and post-processing, including region of interest measurement.

Responsibilities

• Rotates through Adult and Pediatric Acute Care, Outpatient, and Emergency Department settings.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday-Monday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Performs CT imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest regions.
• Conducts specialized procedures including coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA.
• Uses Philips and Toshiba CT equipment.
• Utilizes Epic charting system.
• Performs imaging studies with and without contrast across multiple anatomical regions including abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, and chest.
• Handles trauma cases including trauma head and musculoskeletal trauma imaging.
• Supports vascular imaging including carotid studies and pulmonary embolism/CTA studies.
• Completes colorectal studies requiring rectal contrast preparation.
• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing.
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted for this position.
• First-time travelers may be considered with a very strong work history.
