American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT CT certification for a community hospital setting in Washington. The role includes an evening shift, no on-call requirements, and opportunities to perform CT biopsies and cardiac studies.

Candidate should have ARRT CT and BLS certifications, WA license if applicable, and be willing to float within the health system as needed. Travel candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evening shift 5x8 hours, Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
• No on-call requirements.
• Scan patients for CT studies across body regions.
• Perform biopsies, abscess drains, and CT cardiac studies.
• Must scan independently after orientation period.
• GE or Siemens equipment experience preferred but not required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• May float within health system as needed.
• First-time travelers eligible; some experience preferred.
• Scrubs may be worn; not provided.
• Disclose RTO requests at submission for approval.
• Up to 3 RTO days for auto-offer, up to 7 days for regular offers.
• No additional RTO after contract signing.
• WA licensure start delay up to 8 weeks possible.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT CT certification for a community hospital setting.

Requirements

• ARRT CT and BLS certifications required
• WA license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Skills include image display and post-processing, 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT studies
• Experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and vascular CTA preferred
• Experience preparing and administering contrast media
• Proficiency in radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Two professional references from the past 2 years required, with at least one from a supervisor

Responsibilities

• Evening shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Patient population includes all diagnoses related to CT scan
• Performs biopsies, abscess drains, and CT cardiac studies
• Must be able to scan independently after a one-week orientation period
• Experience with GE or Siemens equipment preferred but not required
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• Candidates must be willing to float within the health system as operationally necessary
• First-time travelers will be considered, though some experience is preferred
• Scrubs may be worn but are not provided
• Candidates must disclose RTO requests at the time of submission for approval prior to contract signing
• Up to 3 RTO days may be approved for auto-offer positions, or up to 7 RTO days for regular offers
• No additional RTO will be approved after contract signing
• Previous PeaceHealth employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a travel candidate
• Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Candidates submitting with proof of WA license application should anticipate a potential start date delay of up to 8 weeks while licensure is processed
