Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience to perform a wide range of CT imaging studies in a busy community hospital in New Jersey.

The role requires ARRT(R) and BLS certification, NJ license if applicable, and proficiency with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, and vascular CT protocols. Shifts are 3x12s (Fri-Sun, 12:00 PM–12:00 AM) in a high-volume setting using Siemens equipment and PACS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT Tech experience required.
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required.
• NJ State or Compact Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of submittal.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis, colorectal, enterography, and IVP studies.
• Experience with head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging.
• Experience with vascular chest imaging including PE, CTA, and aorta studies.

Responsibilities

• Busy community hospital with two primary CT scanners performing roughly 40-60+ scans per day.
• Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient volume.
• Adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings.
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
• Uses Siemens equipment and PACS system.
• Unit accepts first-time travelers.
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted.
• Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• All requested RTO must be listed at time of submittal.

• NJ State or Compact Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis, colorectal, enterography, and IVP studies
• Experience with head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging
• Experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
• Experience with vascular chest imaging including PE, CTA, and aorta studies
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
